What is a Table in Database?

     Table is a container which holds data in the form of  columns and rows.

example :

IDNameWeight
1bob55
2sam65
3lisa45
4john66

     In the above table, ID column can be called as primary Key since it has unique value for each row.

How to create table in SQL Server?

syntax:

CREATE TABLE {table name}
(
       {column 1} {data type}  NULL|NOT NULL ,
       {column 2} {data type}  NULL|NOT NULL ,
....
)

example:

CREATE TABLE dbo.WeightsData (
ID int primary key,
Name varchar(max),
Weight int
)

If you do not specify NULL | NOT NULL, it will by default consider column as NULL . Which means you can insert null (or no values) in that column except for primary key column.

How to Drop / Delete Table in SQL Server?

syntax:
DROP TABLE {table name}

example:
DROP TABLE WeightsData
